Method: Back and lay a first goalscorer (for example Van Persie 6.0/6.0) where there is a close match, this is important so to minimise any loss on the qualifying bet. If Van Persie goes on to score a goal but not the first in the match you would be refunded your bet stake. By laying your bet on a betting exchange you are effectively cancelling out your bet but will still have the option to gain a refund for effectively nothing.
