A perfect chance to try and grab a refund on either match.   Liverpool need to bounce back after the recent 2-0 defeat by Middlesborough and without Torres who is out with an ankle injury they will be to Gerrard to captain the team to a win, the question is will he step up and score when it counts. 

 Blackburn and Santa Cruz will be looking to add a win to the one at the weekend in order to lift them out of the relegation battle, however playing against one of the in form teams Everton may be a tougher challenge than that of Hull who they previously beat.  With that in mind the Liverpool game looks the better bet and chance for a refund.

Place a First Goal scorer bet and if your player fails to score the first goal but scores at any other time in the match VC Bet will refund your stake as a free bet on any future match.

This is a fairly decent offer from VC Bet as it is open to all premier league games this weekend meaning the potential to qualify for a free bet is fairly good.

Method:
The approach to this offer is to place a first goalscorer bet with VC Bet and lay it off at one of the betting exchanges such as Betfair, where there is a close match available.  A close match means the odds at the bookmaker are the same or at most very close to the lay odds on the same market and bet selection at Betfair. 

For example say you find odds of 6.0 (decimal) on Torres in the Liverpool game a close match will be anything between 6.0 (ideal) and 6.5 depending on how much you are willing to lose by placing the qualifying bet.

Should your selected player score during the game but not the first goal you will be provided with a refund in the form of a free bet.

Method:

As usual for this type of offer the method requires finding a bet which can be layed off at a betting exchange for minimum loss (see previous posts for how this is done if you are new to this). 

With first goalscorer offers it is usually best to try and find a close match near to kickoff as this is the time when the odds are at their lowest at the betting exchange and you also have a better idea of the likely starting lineup.

If your selected player scores a goal other than the first goal then you will qualify for a refund.  A tip is to select one of the favourites as if they don’t score first then there is still a good chance they may get a goal later in the game.
